The Simulator Company and Twin Medical Showcase the Future of Healthcare Simulation at ECOS-TCS 2026 in Paris

The Simulator Company was proud to participate in the ECOS-TCS Conference 2026, held in Paris on 23rd and 24th June 2026, in collaboration with our official distributor for France, Twin Medical.

ECOS-TCS brought together leading intensivists, cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, anaesthetists, ECMO specialists, educators and healthcare innovators from across Europe and beyond, creating an exceptional platform to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaborations and explore the future of extracorporeal life support.

Working alongside the Twin Medical team, we were delighted to welcome clinicians from across France and Europe to experience our latest generation of high-fidelity simulation technologies designed to advance ECMO, LVAD and critical care education.

A Complete Ecosystem of High-Fidelity Simulation

During the conference, visitors experienced our most advanced portfolio of simulation technologies, each developed with one goal: to prepare clinicians for the realities of patient care through immersive, intelligent and responsive simulation.

E-SIM Pro 3 · The World's First AI-Powered Complete ECMO Simulator

At the centre of our showcase was the E-SIM Pro 3, the world's first AI-powered complete ECMO simulator.

The E-SIM Pro 3 combines:

Unlike traditional simulation systems built around predefined scenarios, the E-SIM Pro 3 introduces Responsive Simulation, where the simulated patient's physiology dynamically evolves according to every clinical decision made by the learner. This creates an educational experience that closely mirrors real-world ECMO management and prepares clinicians for the complexity of modern critical care.

LVAD-SIM · The World's First LVAD Haemodynamics Training Simulator

One of the highlights of ECOS-TCS 2026 was the showcase of LVAD-SIM, the world's first dedicated LVAD haemodynamics training simulator.

LVAD-SIM enables clinicians to gain a comprehensive understanding of mechanical circulatory support by visualising and interacting with realistic cardiovascular physiology.

Participants explored:

The introduction of LVAD-SIM represents another major milestone in advancing cardiovascular simulation education.

Pump-E · The World's First ECMO Pump Simulator

Visitors also experienced Pump-E, the world's first dedicated ECMO Pump Simulator.

Pump-E enables clinicians to safely learn ECMO pump operation without requiring disposable circuits or clinical ECMO equipment.

The simulator allows users to understand:

Pump-E opens an entirely new chapter in ECMO education by allowing repeated hands-on practice in a safe, controlled environment.

SIM-Vision AI · Intelligent Debriefing Powered by Artificial Intelligence

We also introduced SIM-Vision AI, our intelligent debriefing platform developed to transform post-simulation learning.

Using Artificial Intelligence, SIM-Vision AI supports educators by analysing simulation sessions, identifying critical learning events, assisting structured debriefing, and providing objective performance insights that enhance educational outcomes.

The platform allows educators to spend more time teaching and less time reviewing recordings, creating richer learning experiences for every participant.

Omni-Hospital · Taking Simulation Beyond the Limits of Hardware

Another major highlight of ECOS-TCS 2026 was the introduction of Omni-Hospital, our first Extended Reality (XR) simulation platform.

Omni-Hospital has been designed to take simulation beyond the limitations of hardware and physical simulation rooms, allowing healthcare organisations to build complete immersive hospital environments.

Through XR technology, clinicians can interact with intelligent virtual patients, multidisciplinary teams, medical devices and complete hospital workflows within one connected simulation ecosystem.

Omni-Hospital opens exciting opportunities for:

It represents our vision for the future of healthcare education, where simulation is no longer constrained by physical equipment but becomes intelligent, scalable and globally accessible.

Supporting the Scientific Programme Through Hands-On Workshops

Alongside our participation in the exhibition with Twin Medical, The Simulator Company was proud to actively contribute to the scientific programme by supporting and conducting multiple hands-on ECMO simulation workshops.

These workshops enabled participants to experience advanced high-fidelity simulation while managing realistic ECMO scenarios that challenged technical skills, communication, teamwork and clinical decision-making.

Using the E-SIM Pro 3, participants explored how Responsive Simulation is transforming healthcare education by allowing patient physiology to react dynamically to clinical interventions rather than following predefined pathways.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Dr Anis Chaba and Dr Thomas Jeanmougin, who served as outstanding faculty throughout the workshops. Their expertise, enthusiasm and dedication created an exceptional educational experience for all participants.

We are equally grateful to Professor Alain Combes, whose leadership and guidance were instrumental throughout both the workshops and the conference. His continued commitment to advancing ECMO education and clinical excellence has inspired clinicians worldwide and contributed greatly to the success of ECOS-TCS 2026.

Collaboration Driving Innovation

Our participation at ECOS-TCS 2026 was made even more impactful through our collaboration with Twin Medical, our official distributor for France.

Together, we share a common vision of strengthening ECMO education by providing clinicians with access to the world's most advanced simulation technologies. Through this partnership, we continue to support healthcare professionals across France and French-speaking regions with innovative educational solutions designed to improve clinical confidence and patient outcomes.

The Future is Responsive

One message resonated throughout the conference. Healthcare simulation is evolving.

For decades, simulation has largely been reactive, based on scripted scenarios that remain static regardless of learner decisions.

The future is different. At The Simulator Company, we believe simulation should think, respond and evolve just as patients do.

Responsive Simulation represents the next generation of healthcare education, where physiology changes in real time, clinical interventions produce realistic consequences, and learners develop not only technical skills but also judgement, confidence and critical thinking.

This philosophy is embedded across every platform we develop and continues to shape the future of ECMO, cardiovascular and critical care simulation.

Thank You, Paris

We would like to thank every clinician, educator, researcher and healthcare professional who visited our stand, attended our workshops and shared their insights throughout ECOS-TCS 2026.

The enthusiasm, curiosity and engagement we experienced throughout the conference reinforce our belief that the future of healthcare education lies in intelligent, responsive, high-fidelity simulation.

We also extend our sincere thanks to our partner Twin Medical, the conference organisers, faculty members and every participant who contributed to making ECOS-TCS 2026 such a memorable and successful event.

As the world's largest, most innovative and most awarded ECMO simulator company, we remain committed to leading the future of ECMO, LVAD and critical care simulation, developing technologies that empower clinicians, strengthen education and ultimately improve patient outcomes around the world.

We look forward to returning to France and continuing to work alongside Twin Medical, our clinical partners and the wider ECMO community to shape the next generation of healthcare simulation.
