We recently returned from the ISHLT - International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation conference in Toronto, and it was nothing short of a defining moment for our team at The Simulator Company.
As the world’s largest, most awarded, and most innovative ECMO simulator company, stepping into the realm of Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) simulation marks an exciting and monumental new chapter for us. The response we received on the exhibition floor was truly overwhelming, and we are thrilled to share the highlights of this milestone event.
The World Premiere of the LVAD-SIM
The centerpiece of our presence in Toronto was the global unveiling of the LVAD-SIM—the world’s first LVAD haemodynamics training simulator.
Purpose-built to bridge the critical gap between theoretical knowledge and hands-on clinical expertise, the LVAD-SIM is designed to redefine how clinicians and educators approach mechanical circulatory support training. Launching this device at ISHLT allowed us to demonstrate real-time hemodynamic interactions and ultra-realistic cardiac responses to the exact professionals who rely on these systems every day.
A Complete Ecosystem of World-First Innovations
Alongside the launch of the LVAD-SIM, our booth featured a comprehensive showcase of our cutting-edge responsive simulation ecosystem. Attendees had the opportunity to get hands-on with a lineup of world-first innovations:
• U-SIM: The world’s first ultrasound simulator seamlessly integrated with an ECMO simulator.
• Pump-E: The world’s first highly portable, disposable-free ECMO Pump Simulator engineered for perfusion education.
• E-SIM Portable: The world’s first AI-powered, responsive, and portable ECMO troubleshooting and haemodynamics simulator.
• E-SIM Pro 3: Our flagship, AI-powered complete ECMO simulator that delivers a fully immersive, zero-latency training experience.
The Power of People and Purpose
While showcasing our technology is always a proud moment, what stood out the most at ISHLT was the people.
It was deeply inspiring to meet so many dedicated clinicians, perfusionists, and educators who truly believe in the power of simulation.
Looking Ahead
We want to extend a thank you to everyone who visited our booth, engaged with our technology, and shared your insights. Your passion fuels our innovation. We are incredibly excited for what lies ahead and look forward to working closely with the global cardiothoracic community to continue shaping the future of medical training and patient care.
